ABOD Parade
Despite the terrible weather conditions, the band enjoyed the annual Apprentice Boys of Derry parade, and there was an excellent turn out of bands and spectators. As always, we enjoyed marching as a mass band with our friends in The Black Skull Corps of Drums, Glasgow...we also enjoyed a few beers with them afterwards!!! Overall a good day was had, especially marching and playing on our city walls, The Fountain estate, and playing a selection of tunes in Bishop Street.
As part of the Maiden City Festival celebrations, the band also played in the Memorial Hall, which also included performances from the Churchill Flute Band, and Pride of The Orange & Blue Flute Band. We hope to have some video clips available for our next update, but for now, we have a few clips of the band marching in previous 12th of August parades, passing the Cathedral, and towards The Memorial Hall.
